Вчера мы с вами говорили про предлоги, а сегодня я приготовила для вас отличный пример их использования. #предлоги This is a photo of a big, cheerful family in a cosy living room. The photo shows three generations sitting together on an old, comfortable sofa, probably at Christmas time. The picture looks like a real printed photo: it has a white border around the edges and a slightly faded, vintage look. In the foreground, six people are squeezed together on a worn olive-green sofa with a faded flower pattern. A small orange cushion is tucked in the corner on the left. On the far left sits Grandma. Her grey hair is pulled up into a neat bun, and little turquoise earrings sparkle in her ears. Her eyes are closed because she's laughing so hard, and her cheeks are rosy. She's wearing a bright zigzag cardigan over a cream blouse with a round collar, and a long purple skirt. One of her hands is resting on her knee, and the other is raised in front of her, as if she has just heard the funniest joke in the world. Next to her is Grandpa. He has thick grey hair, a short white beard and big glasses on his nose. He's wearing a green-and-brown checked shirt. One arm is wrapped around Grandma's shoulders, and with the other he's holding his grandson on his lap. In the middle of the picture, right in the centre, sits the little boy. He has messy brown hair and big brown eyes, and he's wearing a green jumper, blue jeans and yellow socks. He's waving at the camera with one hand and grinning from ear to ear. Mum has her hand on his back to keep him steady. To the right of the boy is Mum. Long wavy brown hair falls over her shoulders, and she's wearing a striped jumper in cream, orange and green. On her lap she's holding a baby girl in a pink onesie with a tiny pink bow on top of her head. The baby has big blue eyes and is smiling at everyone in front of her. On the far right is Dad. He has dark hair, a neat beard and a big friendly smile. He's wearing a blue hoodie and brown trousers. He's sitting very close to Mum, and his hand is resting gently on the baby. If you look at his hand carefully, you can see a wedding ring on his finger. In the background, you can see a warm, lived-in room. In the top left corner, the wall is covered with framed family pictures. In one of them there's an elderly couple who look a lot like Grandma and Grandpa, and in another there's a young family with a small child. Maybe it's a photo of Mum and Dad years ago. Below the frames, on the left, stands a lamp with an orange shade and a teal base. Behind Grandpa and Mum there's a wooden bookshelf full of books. A green plant hangs over the edge of the top shelf, and a little framed photo stands next to it. Between the bookshelf and the window there's a Christmas tree decorated with twinkling lights and red baubles, and a golden star shines at the top of it. In the top right corner, soft pink curtains hang beside a big bright window. Daylight is pouring through the glass, and a tall potted plant stands on the windowsill. The whole scene feels warm and happy. It's exactly the kind of picture you'd put in a frame and hang on the wall next to the others. And when the baby grows up, she'll look at this photo and ask, “Who's that in the photo with Grandma?” Just keep it away from your morning coffee, because nobody wants a coffee stain on the photo.
