The programme, which was called "Read & Discover", quickly became popular among young readers. The librarians WHO organised the programme wanted to show teenagers that reading can be fun. They invited several famous authors to meet the students and talk about their books. The authors, WHO had volunteered to take part, answered questions and signed copies of their books. One of the participants, fifteen-year-old Maria, said that the programme had changed her attitude to reading. "I never liked books before," she said, "but now I read every day." The programme was so successful that the library plans to continue it next year.
