☀ The "Summer Greetings" column is a great opportunity to learn something new and plan your trip for next year with fresh ideas and routes! Today's summer greeting is from Ekaterina Zelenstova, a 3rd-year student of the Medical Faculty, and it will appeal to extreme sports enthusiasts and adventure lovers: 🗣 "I spent most of the summer at home, in the town of Vels. These holidays were eventful: I attended the annual 'Susanin Fest', where my sister performed, and I actively cheered for her. 🔹The Susanin Fest is the largest sports and tourism festival in the Arkhangelsk region. Every year, in late July, hundreds of participants and guests gather in the picturesque forests near Vels. They come to test themselves, their physical fitness, feel the team spirit, and enjoy nature. This year, the festival's theme was related to the apocalypse, so some participants wore appropriate costumes. My sister's team didn't win a prize, but participating in such an event is already an exciting experience in itself. 🔹Additionally, for the first time in our town, 'Let's Paddle' stand-up paddleboarding competitions were held — it was great to watch! 🔹And, of course, a very important event for me was the reunion of graduates from the language studio where my sister and I studied for 6 years. It was so nice to get together again! We reminisced about our classes, painted candles, drew affirmation paintings, discussed where everyone had enrolled, and how the studio was doing now. I spent a lot of time in nature: the forest, the river, the tranquility — the best thing one could imagine after the academic year. Summer is still going on, and I'm already looking forward to my 3rd year!" 🌲🌳 ☀🇷🇺 How is your summer going?
